04:04 pm - UPDATE 4 LYFE I take possession on Friday, then have a week to transfer delicate stuff myself before Moving Day. Getting close, and it's getting hard to move in here with all the boxes and bags. Logic dictates that as you pack the boxes take up the space the possessions did before, so there should be little to no loss of living space. LOGIC IS BULLSHIT.
Loki is wondering why I'm not letting him share my drink. That would be because the drink in question is an experimental concotion of peacherines soaked overnight in spiced rum, with ginger beer. Yep, it's as good as it sounds. Next time I may even drink it with other people around. It's more classy that way.
Also, I've been indulging in my favourite weekend past-time of veging out in front of endless Food TV. The net result is tonight's dinner will be lamb knuckle (on special from New World ILU bright orange 'quick sale' sticker), marinated in a mix of usweetened natural yoghurt, coriander, spring onion, garlic and lime juice then roasted, with Morroccan roast pumpkin, homemade flat bread, and left-over marinade on the side. And possibly more of Mummy's Special Drink. Yus. The fruit explodes into ethanol in my mouth. Being tipsy is distracting me from the flu, which is dancing around the edge of my immune system with its underwear on its head.
Remember kiddies, Legend of the Seeker starts tonight on Prime! The greatest Evil man has ever faced is... CRAIG PARKER. Terry Goodkind, always loltastic.

Comments:
YAY LEGEND OF THE SEEKER! Unless it's on at 8.30, 'cause that clashes with Serial Killer Sunday time.
*checks Prime website*
ARGH WHINGE.
Wait, no, it's 2 hours long! I can totally watch the second half. And we can totally get it out on DVD at some point and cackle like madwomen.
And it's only the premiere that's on Sunday, the actual series will be showing on Mondays, I think.
Both of these things sound delicious.
You're welcome. I thought that sentence was really funny; too funny not to share. |
